I'm a Texan, born in the Houston area and raised in LaMarque. I became an IBC in 1976 and have always lived in Galveston's beautiful East End Historical District. I received a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas A&I University, Kingsville and two masters degrees, one in music ( University of Houston ) and the other in school administration ( U of H - Clear Lake ). My entire 31 years of teaching choral music was in Galveston, twenty-three as director at Ball High School. I have served as church music director at Central Christian, First Baptist and most recently serving nine years as Director of Music at Moody Methodist Church. I am currently the choral director for the Galveston College Community Chorale. I am also in my 26th year being a member of the Houston Symphony Chorus.
I began to appreciate and love the art of photography while being stationed in West Berlin, Germany from 1971-73.
