Marcy Hanson

Marcy is from one of the oldest families still residing on the island of Galveston. Her family dates back to the days of Jean Lafitte. Today she proudly cares for The Victorian Inn. Rated this year as The Official Best of Texas 2011 – Best Historic Bed and Breakfast in the State of Texas! She is a Texas Master Naturalist that has added an Official Wildlife Habitat, Certified Butterfly way station, Bunny sanctuary and bird aviary to the gardens of the Inn. She loves teaching her guests what beauties Nature has given to us on this wonderful little island. Gourmet cooking, studying philosophy and comparative religions are her passions. A few years back her life in Hollywood included Prime time Television Series, Feature Films, National Commercials, Magazine covers and yes…she was a Playboy Playmate living at the Playboy Mansion. She proudly serves on the Galveston Island Tree Committee to replant our island after Hurricane Ike. And is most honored to be on The Presidents Cabinet of the University of Texas Medical Branch.
