ABOUT THE SELECTED IMAGE: AN AMERICAN PROTEST | I picked the photo of the protests because I thought it captioned just truly what I was trying to say, that here we are in the middle of this pandemic. People are losing their lives. We’re now at one hundred and ninety something thousand. And here you are spending your time wanting to get on the beach during all of this. I think right now in the world, American is synonymous with the word selfish because it’s apparent as to why we can’t get this under control. You know, people can’t pay bills, are getting evicted, children going hungry.
